Patients Motivated by Adherence Report Card

Australian pharmacies are inputting new adherence measures. Scores are given to patients based on their actual refill date compared to the theoretical date based on full adherence. A mark of 80 or lower and pharmacists will prepare blister packs for patients, 75 and lower and you are instructed to go to your GP for a drug review. Feedback is positive, patients are generally surprised by their low scores, and enjoy the program.
