1 in 4 Patients Don't Trust Doctor

Trust in the physician is essential for a good relationship, making it a cornerstone of medication adherence. However, a Johns Hopkins study has shown that many patients believe their physicians may be putting their health at risk. Other studies are suggesting that as many as one in four patients do not trust their physicians. If they do not trust the person prescribing the medication, how can they be expected to take it?
