Study Correlates Outcomes and Clarity of Medication Labels

It bears repeating, if people cannot read the labels on their medication containers, or if they cannot understand them, they cannot be expected to take their medication properly. In this study, a significant correlation can be seen between poorer clinical outcome and the inability to comprehend prescription labels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. More can still be done to ensure that patients understand how to take care of themselves in order to improve both adherence and outcome.
